Emma’s Imagination

Even if you didn’t catch her on Sky’s Must be the Music, you’ve probably heard of Emma’s Imagination, otherwise known as Emma Gillespie.

Emma produces beautiful, soulful music with catchy lyrics and haunting vocals.

Must be the Music allowed artists to sing their own material and compete to have their songs released on download, with Emma scoring a slot in the top 10.

The show was the first of its kind, pulling in celebrity judges Dizzee Rascal, Sharleen Spiteri and Jamie Cullen, who named Emma “the most complete artist in the competition.”

Emma went on to win the show, along with prize money of £100,000 which will be used to further her music career.

The 27 year old busker from Scotland said she’s still getting to grips with the experience and doesn’t want to sign a record deal just yet, although we bet she’s been spoilt for choice with offers since winning the show last week.

We love Emma’s unique style and talent, and can’t wait for her hugely anticipated album.

Her debut single, Focus, is at number 7 in the charts and available to download now.
